What do we do?
We aim to:
• | Bring together local groups and organisations for mutual support and the exchange of information |
• | Create a sense of community by organising at least one annual village event such as a May Day event and also coordinating a programme of Feast Week activities |
• | Provide a forum to discuss issues that affect affiliated groups and the wider community |
• | Keep the community informed about what is going on by publishing Warboys Diary every two months |
• | Help affiliated groups with specific projects by awarding small grants |
Where do we get our money from?
We raise money by:
• | Applying an annual affiliation fee |
• | Selling advertising space in Warboys Diary |
• | Holding community events |
• | Periodically applying for grants |
Who can belong to the Association?
• | Any non-commercial/not for profit organisation, group or charity based within Warboys and the surrounding area can become an affiliated member for an annual fee of £15. We also invite a small number of local businesses to join the Association |
