The Warboys Fire of 1835 was mentioned in the Times and 44 High Street was the Grocers and the Blacksmiths was next door,
The Warboys fire of 1900 was a significant event in the village’s history. It resulted in the destruction of 16 houses and outbuildings along Warboys High Street.
The fire also caused the death of livestock, including calves and poultry. Tragically, a resident named Mr. Raby died of shock caused by the outbreak of the fire.
Despite the devastation, the community came together to rebuild the village demonstrating their resilience.

The White Hart had a fire in 1996.
Joan Coal helped Lanloard Mr Peter’s rescue his Aviary Birds from the blaze.
Rebuilding was over a number of weeks but eventually opened on 14th September 1996.
