The FOWL website is run by the friends of the library for the benefit of the village both newcomers and established villagers and of course to support Warboys Library. Warboys is a village located near Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire.

The website includes a directory of what is in the village and the activities that go on there, also included is a history of the village. Click on the navigation links at top of the page, also more detail of the links shown below.

Due to the virus services will have some restrictions: You can Return books, Collect reserved books, Browse and Select books but please limit touching, Pre-booked PC use.

The main sections of the website are as follows (they can be opened by using links near top of each webpage also the links below in blue when using this page):

Warboys Directory: is modern in style (fly out menus) and works with most computers, notebooks and tablets. The Directory aims to list all the clubs, societies, organisations and services in Warboys. The clubs & societies have a page each to give further details of themselves and even diary of activities if they so wish. Business/commercial organisation may be listed. An entry is free. The Warboys Diary is also available online within the directory and lists current events and news affecting Warboys.

The Friends of Warboys Library (FOWL) was formed in 2004. Apart from supporting the Library, FOWL prepared a Directory of Warboys which was published in 2006 as a set of stapled together pages. Shortly after this it was published in a booklet form in late 2006. A later updated booklet edition was also published in 2009. In 2008 the idea of a website showing the Directory materialised, it was a basic website. Since then the website has grown into what you see today.

If you are responsible for an organisation/club etc and wish to update your web page within this website or include your organisation (no charge):
    (a) On the first contact with us please do so in writing to the library or a FOWL committee member giving full contact details and your position in the organisation/club (eg Secretary/chairperson etc). Also give details of others who may update your webpage. For further information ring FOWL webmaster on 01487 822818.
