44 High Street, Warboys in 1880 with Blacksmith's

Photo of 44, High Street Warboys probably around 1880 showing thatched Blacksmith's to the right (it was not actually called 44 until much later).

A grocers shop was being run by Caroline Middleton the mother of the John Middleton, the blacksmith, at this time (see 1881 census).

Just to the left of No. 44 you can just see a row of houses at the side, since demolished and replaced.
